What is a good replacement battery for a G35 Journey with all the power draining packages and what is a good and safe wheel cleaner for Aluminum alloy hyper-silver wheels?
TIA

Autozone Duralast Gold has served me well!!!
However, I consistantly see great comments on INTERSTATE.

The prices at my dealer were in line what others were charging
All the necessary electronics were functioning and the car was much cleaner when they returned it to me.

Insist on a 700 CCA rating rather than a cheaper battery with a lower rating

I've always used optima batteries as well. But most of my cars have had some kind of aftermarket stereo.

CR did not have the Optima battery in any of their lists for any of the battery groupings.
Don't know if it is because of the price difference between all of the other batteries and Optima. I know they are much more $$$. I only use CR as another tool just like the forums that I'm on.

If I had aftermarket goodies in my car or were going to add anything I would listen more to the experts here like Joe or Matt and would be leaning toward what they recommended!! :yesnod

Sounds like Duralast or Optima is the way to go. I've used Orbital batteries in my boat with good results. It's a power hog also.
Any recommendations on wheel cleaner? I'd sure hate to mess these up.

my wheels clean pretty easily. alot of ppl put Zaino on them. im sure any kind of wax would help keep the brake dust from sticking. i know that my Hawk pads create ZERO dust. its amazing. and im a heavy braker. i just use a wet cloth mostly and everything comes right off.

Pretty much any wheel cleaner that says it's safe for aluminum wheels should do to clean them if they're already too dirty for, say, Dawn. After that, a lot of waxes won't take the temp for long. I use Collinite 845 Insulator Wax every couple of months and they stay clean with my usual car wash solution (using Blue Coral right now) and a (very) soft brush.

I've never had to use a wheel cleaner. I just use the car wash solution in my bucket. If I have time to do it right, I wash my car with car wash, then make a bucket of dawn for the rims and tires.
