Alright guys, in major need of help here. I put a sohc into a dohc rolling chasis. Motor runs, drives etc etc, cant get the gauges to work. They will show me that my high beams are on, the clock in the middle is on but no needles move. However i put gas in it the night before and the needle moved up Extremely slow after bout ten minutes it finally showed a quarter tank but i know i put in more than that. Any ideas how to trouble shoot it? I know theres like a two foot harness going from the main harness to the gauges, i have two of them and tried both but no response, i have a CDM gauge cluster and a usdm cluster, both worked in the previous car before the swap. (old car was a piece of s*** body) haha.

Second problem.

The connectors going from the harness to the injectors, looks like the rubber around them is dry rotted, not sure if the wires are also, possible but not sure. Sometimes i start it up and it sounds like a freaking subaru not running on all cylinders, sometimes two, sometimes three. Wiggle all of the injectors, doesnt do anything. Stop motor, wiggle them again, start motor again and SOMETIMES it fixes the problem but rare. Any known problems of the injectors, rail, plugs etc? Has new spark plugs, rotor button, distr cap, plug wires. Car ran fine before put into this car. Just tired of not knowing what to do. I love the car but it just makes it so i cant drive it at all. Save me?
