made it to 2 meets yesterday.

One in elizabethtown, KY and one in Lousiville kentucky.

Got to stretch the Q's legs a bit.

The one in E town started at 1 pm and I stayed thru 4 pm and we has 1 NICO admin and 2 moderators in attendence and got to hang out with a couple of ( I found out) NICO lurkers.

Lots of folks from 502streets.com, there as well.

The one in Loiusville started at 900pm and I left at 1 am when crowds were still thick.About 5 NICO members and 20-25 Louisville streets.com folks ( rival of 502streets), braved the temps.

Fred...:)

Actually,The last Bowling Green meet that we had I drove pretty extensively on that weekend:

Friday Evening: Drove from Indianapolis to Louisville.Saturday Morning: Drove back to Indianapolis from Louisville for my nephew's baptismSaturday Afternoon: Drove from Indianapolis to Bowling Green Kentucky.Sunday Afternoon: Drove back to Indianapolis from Bowling Green.

I think it ended up being 12 hours in the car that weekend. Long live redundancy.

I think I can top that. 12/19/03

Friday Evening: Flew from Kansas City, MO to Atlanta, GA. Flew from Atlanta, GA to Buffalo, NY. Met fiancee at airport, had dinner, hit the road for only 15 minutes because of terrible snow storm.

Saturday 6:30am CST left Hamburg, NYSunday 12:14am CST arrived in Lawrence, KS

an 18-hour non-stop more than 1200-mile trip. :)
