two batteries

my question is what all do i need to install 2 batteries in my car. i have a normal size stock one but it is bad and i have a slim 1 that came with the car but i want t hook up my system in it and that slim batterie wont hold up at al. cold days...no batterie. is there any kind of special things i need to buy or just hook a couple up?

Most alternators can not properly charge two batteries. A bad battery will damage the alternator. Get one good battery and have the system tested to confirm that the alternator is charging properly.

Red top has a better warranty and most people do not deep cycle their main starting battery but whatever floats your boat.

you can more commonly find red top Optimas for cheaper i believe.. i cant remember which one are cheaper but.. Braille's are the lightest battery made for our cars( 11.5lbs) if ur looking for lighter but.. just get a redtop and skip the whole two battery plan, doesnt make sense to get two batteries for a job that one battery can do.

ok thanks alot guys thats what i was wanting to do but i wasnt shore. i have a brand new alternatur.
