Whats up guys....I need some quick help here.

I was changing back to my summer wheels, and I either A)cross threaded a lug nut, or B)it just got seized on the lug/stud enough to where I exerted a little too much effort into backing it off, and twisted it right in half..

I got a new lug/stud, and lug nut so I can repair it. Now I just need to know how much of a process this will be in taking everything apart and putting back together. If anyone can write up a quick explantion of the order of things, Id appreciate it.

Thanks again for any help,BC

pound the old one out with a hammer, put new one in and use a nut to pull it in position.

I figured that much. But how much has to be removed to get the lug out. Calipers, dust cover, etc????

in the shop, i remove hubs to change lug studs.

not sure how much clearance you have behind the hub, so theres a good chance you could get the job done with a hammer, a lug nut, and a stack of washers.

Front or rear?

The rear is easy, yank off the Caliper, bracket, and rotor, hammer that bastard out, feed the new one in, put a large socket over it to take up space, and thread the new lugnut on. When you tighten it up against the socket you are using for a spacer, it pulls the stud into the splines. Took me 10 mintues to do mine.

or you could put the rotor back on and use it as the spacer. both front and rear there should be a cut away in the dust shield for lug stud R&R. You just rotate the hub so the stud lines up with that cut away.
