Hey guys, I'm trying to decide on a new rear spoiler and I have it narrowed down to the TwinZ type 1 and type 2. I'm having a hard time telling from pictures the differences between the two, can someone help me out please.

Looks to me they are the same low profile much like OEM, the only differences I see are a minor shape difference at the back/rear where the ends meet the rear body panel and the mounting of the third brake light. From that I think I'd go #2 as it seemed a bit cleaner, and I agree it's hard to see anything else as they really didn't get closeups of them like other spoiler mfg's do. Maybe if you contact them direct or e-mail they have literature they can send you?

Oh, and BTW I myself went Powertrix cf, it's a beautiful piece and very high quality- very much advised as it really fits the car well and looks great on almost any color.

I messaged TwinZ and here is what they said:

The type 2 is like an updated version of the type 1. It's more rounded and smoother all around. The type 1 is flat on top, to replicate the idea of the OEM wing, while the type 2 has a curvature to round the rear end view.

Sounds about right, it did look like a smoother fit which is why I liked it better, especially at the back ends/corners.\
