Its a car, not a gun lol. Do you have the VQ35HR motor or the VQ35DE?

Did Nissan make a 2006 Z with an HR? I thought they started puting the HR in the Z in 2007.

Is it double action or single action or both? Haha! P R D + - is Automatic. You may omit the use of "semi".

You can put twin turbos in any 350z.

Stock internals will hold up to about 400hp. Anything over will require you to upgrade. Turbo app. exhaust is recommended. Driver mod is essential. Get familiar with your car first, then add power later. I've been driving mine for quite some time now and I still find myself getting the rear loose on 2nd gear power shifts from time to time. You don't want your car wrapped on a tree. Good luck!

You are correct, the HR wasn't available until '07.

I'm thinking that when Yzaguirre said semi-automatic he was referring to manual shift mode.

Yzaguirre, your dad's first name wouldn't happen to be Rudolfo, would it?

volskwagen used to sell a a "manumatic" trans mission in the old air cooled bugs, it was a manumatic as ti did nto have a fully automatic functiin and had no clutch, you just moved the lever to select gears H pattern IIRC

but the 350Z is either an auto or a manual, there is no inbetween

Would like to add / specify that the internals are good for about 400 *wheel* horse power.... If you don't want to push the limits of the motor, build it or go with an SC and tune it for 340-380 wheel (thats what i would do because i am too poor to build)... There are a lot lot of SC'd autos already out there. A few vids on youtube of SC'd 350Z's are autotragics
