Here is the link for the Twin Turbo VH45DE Nissan Patrol from Australia.

I know that this has been discussed on this forum before.

The reason I bring it up again is because of the fact that the factory transmission was hooked up to the Nissan Patrol Transfer case.

This opens the door for our cars. The transfer case is known as a TX12A. It has ratios of 1.00/2.02.

What would it be like to install one of these on a Q?

Now the other possibility is to install some type of aftermarket overdrive unit such as the Gear Vendors Overdrive.

Has anyone on this forum heard of who makes the TX12A transfer case? Is it found on other vehicles?

Well, I found out the TX12A transfer case is made by Fuji Univance.

Here's a link with a photo. It is the one on the bottom.

It seems that this transfer case should bolt right up to the same trans that is in our cars. You would need a different tailshaft, of course.

Bro thats the same Transverse case on my current car and it can also bolt up to the infiniti Auto Transmission easily without mods.

The Problem is that I want to know will the original transmission (on the Patrol which is the same for nearly 14 years from 1989) will bolt on with just minor modifications.

I need to go the nissan dealer and get the transmission number.(Theres so little info on the net for patrols )
