Why not do it then? It's a relatively cheap and easy conversion. The motor you see in that video is completely stock apart from bigger injectors + turbo setup. It's making over 1000HP at the flywheel.

So what is the total output at now? And is this still with the stock engine? It sounds almost unbelievable. Maybe they used a thicker head gasket to reduce compression a bit. Either way it is a testament to the excellent design of the VH series.

Peak output is not actually claimed but its got to be somewhere round 1050-1100HP, at 7700 rpm @18 psi boost. ALL internal components are custom made, and Nizpro have done extensive combustion chamber and camshaft reasearch and developement as well as the usual engine work. This information courtesy of Simon the proprietor of Nizpro from their forums.

The most amazing part....its been 100% reliable, in a highly stressed environment running for long periods at WOT. They know there stuff at Nizpro, thats for sure.

<edit, oh and even more powerful, they now have over 1100HP out of a 4.0 litre inline 6 ford engine.

Interesting, are the custom made internals a new addition since their increase in power, or did it have these at the time of the filming of the first video?

I ask because this would therefore conflict with information posted on Nico by another user, who claims to have spoken with the folks at Nizpro.

What sort of power output and tourque curve dose a set up like that put down?

40hrs of that sort of punishment is impressive...

Is there aftermarket products being made redily available for these motors? Or is there alot of custom parts being made for the internals? Crank, Rods heads etc...__________________Bundy, bishez and Bad *** Cars....[/quote]The extra power increase(s), peak power not disclosed, are since that date, and ascribed to combustion chamber and camshaft work.
