i posted this in another post but didnt get any reaponses so i am trying my luck with a fresh topic, basically i was wondering how to supply oil and water to my rb25dett setup, i decided to use stock rb26 turbos, which i know are oil and water cooler, i was thinking of just doing oil, and replumbing the stock water lines which is ez, just the oil supply for the turbos is a pain, i dont know if i should t off from the supply line and y the return lines, i am getting a bunch of oil lines wiht my purchases to that should be a slight insite as far as what i should do any suggestions or even pictures of peoples rb26 stock setups ? the fsm pics look like they were scanned in from a napkin

The RB26 has two oil supply ports in the block. I would thread and NPT T into the 25 block to split that port into two. You should definitely modify your oil pan for two returns though,

If they are ball bearing turbos you'll want to water cool them as well.

I would T of fittings for all feeds, and run a secondary drain into the pan.

For water return I would say run braided lines with a T to the block.

Good luck

the RB has a pretty hefty return line.

but technically wouldnt that suffice? if you T the feeder line, arent you going to still push the same amount of oil to the 2 turbos as compared to not Ting it and running a single turbo?

hypothetically though if that was incorrect, couldnt you get the turbo specs and run a oil restrictor to cut back on oiling to make that single return acceptable.

im just looking at other ways of doing it, but madschientist is right, thats gonna be the best way of course. so if you have the resources to just put another return at the top of your oil pan then have at it.

look at it this way; the feed line are rising rate pressured relative to the rpm. tee-ing off the source would not be a problem at all; especially ball bearing turbo, they have built in restrictor to keep the pressure down low.

the return line are not pressured, it's drained by gravity. the size of the return port is sufficent for a dual setup. have you compare the AN-10 to this port? the an-10 is pretty damn small and they did not have problem with oil draining. go for it.

26 block has a single feed port, dual return.

the 26 oil feed is a T'ed banjo fitting right off of the block.

water also has 2 returns and 1 source. theres a supply on the block that splits like the oil with a banjo.

the water returns through a 4 way banjo split on the center of the block, exhaust side. there, both water returns merge with a hose from the water neck and a hose from the heater hose area on the rear intake side.
