Did you beef up the transmission ??A guy here did that with a J30 and smoked the transmission within a week !

Believe so.A stout manual transmission would make twin turbo's a HOOT !!

95-j30tt did the swap with the auto transmission. i did mine with the 300zx manual transmission so i think i should be alright. athough i do hear some whining noise but i think its my throwout bearing, not too sure tho. i need to remove the engine to rebuild it, my main goal was to get it in and running, so when its out ill look over the transmission as well to make sure its in good shape.

That M30 is a total sleeper.
