Okay I just got my 300zx. I understand you need two bov's. How hard is it to install bov's and is there any instructions anyone has a link to? Thanks

i had the same question when i got mine. my car friends told me that they have good BOV's stock, right out of the factory. and the reason they don't go sshhhh is they just dump the air back into the intake because it's a MAF system.

^ actually....Z32's have recirculation valves stock, not BOV's.

As for install and more info, I'm sure NSRz32 will respond at some point and help you out

Welcome to NICO by the way and post up some pictures of your TT.

it's a recirculating type bov, many aftermarkets are availabel in the same form and they are the only type that should be used with the stock managment system, if you were to blow off wasted meterd air to the atmosphere you'd have a momentary rich condition every time you let off the throttle when boosting

Like my girlfriend NSR240sxe said, the Z definitely has recirculation valves stock.

If you're looking to do BOV's, which most people do along the upgrade path at some point, you need two and most major manufacturers sell "kits"

I have no real experience with the SAFC but it is a piggy back fuel controller and I wouldn't imagine it would have the resolution needed, IMHO unless you have upgraded turbo's and are over the 400 whp range, stock with the stockers, and honestly if you are to a point of needing bigger bov's it's not a bad idea to couple them with a true stand alone and ditch the afm, then you can reroute the inlet piping
