Has anyone ever done a twin charged KA on here? I plan on doing it but I am newbie and need advice. I want this build because it's crazy and no boost lag. Here are my questions:

What kind of parts do I need to make this build?
Is it possible?
What transmission and clutch should I get?

Anything is possible. That being said, "anything" is often expensive and complicated, "crazy" even more-so. No boost lag as a primary reason in this day and age of incredibly efficient turbos is sort of hipster. A properly selected turbo is almost seamless in it's boost profile. Focus on the crazy thing, it's really the only somewhat legit reason to do it.

Now, a quick Google search just shows me manifold-mounted superchargers. That's not what you want IMO. You want the supercharger first. That means a centrifugal like a Vortech, Paxton or procharger. A screw compressor would be more responsive, but it would get in the way of the turbo, it's too long.

You would need to have a crank pulley made to drive the blower as the accessory belts are not substantial enough to reliably spin up the load of a supercharger. you would need to fab up a mounting plate to hang the blower and probably lose your AC pump to make room, but hey, you want "crazy," so what's a little sweat, right?

Use an off the shelf turbo manifold paying special attention to making sure it doesn't encroach on the supercharger and it hangs the turbo in an advantageous way to be fed from the blower. After that it's all standard stuff.

Is it going to outperform a properly sized new school turbo, don't bet on it. Will it get hits on YouTube and get thumbs up for the fun of it, sure.

Yeah, you're better off going with a variable geometry turbo, or Borgwarner EFR turbo.

+1 on a Borg turbo. The smaller frame EFR's have amazing response and can still make boost like whoa.
