twin cam intake on single came head?

can it be done? is it a direct fit? it would be so much easier to get injectores, intercooler piping and a fuel rail if i could put a twin cam intake on my single cam

The KA24DE DOHC intake manifold will not fit on a KA24E SOHC. The bolt patterns and the ports are different.

He is right its different bolt pattern not to mention the dual cam intake manifold is just a mess to deal with when its on the car, the kae intake imo is easier to work on. As far as injectors and intercooler piping, the injectors will probably be easier to find since you can use more abundant top feed injectors and the intercooler piping is not going to be that far off you could probably just cut the pipe and throw a hump coupler in the middle to make up the length / slight angle you need to make it fit.

well....where to begin......if you have the desire...a little coin..and balls!..you can make anything fit!....all it takes is a little fab know how and desire to be truthfull...your first attempt may not be pretty..but who knows..you may come up with a new mod no-one has ever done before...i know some are laughing....but expand the thought prosess for a moment....when a car maker makes something better they call it ( R/D)..when we garage guys make sumpin better..we call it a mod...there are many mod's out there..and they were all started somewhere by some guy who was laughed off of a forum by other thinking he was crazy...lol...in fact..in my days (the 80's) there were no bolt on's...we actually had to fab our own mod's for things..it's sad to see this art-form is going the way of the dinosour...so keep thinking..dont let anyone say it cant be done...couse anything can be done..if you chose to do so.
