Just a heads up, the Audi Club is having a one day (evening) hi performance driving school at Pocono Raceway's North course on Saturday June 21st.

If you've always wanted to drive your car on a real race course or learn hi speed driving at dusk and dark, this is a great opportunity. Any make car is welcome. No special requirements for the car, but you'll need an approved helmet. I'll be there with my ol' 350Z.

It falls on a Saturday, so you won't miss work. Cost is $199 for audi club members, $225 for non-members. You get a lotta track time with instruction.

Here's a sample video. I understand the entrance to each turn is lit, and there are no trees to hit on the infield so it's a fairly safe environment to drive fast. But if you're interested in hitting triple digit speeds, this is the place.

if there's any interest, I'd be happy to provide the link to sign up.

I wish I still lived anywhere near a track, and then I wish that that track would offer $225 track days with my own car. I would KILL to get the LS8 on the track.
