I have a couple of quick questions for you guys. I'm trying to add small tweeters to my car. I was wondering if I can just run 2 wires from a front door speaker and hook them up. Do they have '+' and '-'? If so, how can I tell? Thanks!

It would be better to buy a component set so the mid and tweeter are matched and so that the deck only sees a 4 ohm load rather than lower which will damage the deck outputs. Yes, they have a positive and negative and the polarity needs to be matched to sound right.

Thanks man. I have 100% stock setup and tweeter is like size of 2 thumbs, so I'll just hook it up to the speaker and see. Glad to know that polarity needs to be correct.

Alright,I installed the tweeter last night. I switched polairty on it several times to find the right way and couldn't tell any difference. So I just installed it whatever I felt more comfortable. Oh, well...
