TV settings on 2005 Nissan Murano

I bought a 2005 nissan murano from Japan, and note that the colour screens for TV and rear view monitor has changed to black and White within months, ....any possible explanation why?

Not sure, I'm going to move this over to the Murano section, and hopefully someone there will have a better idea.
