TV Screen in Center Console?

Has any one here put a TV screen in their max where the cd player is supposed to be.I'm thinking about putting one in myself and I want to know how many changes I'll have to make to the center console.

The ones I've seen have modified an aftermarket mount kit to hold the monitor. They have either moved the HU to the glove box and use a remote control or they have moved the A/C controls to the glove box moved the HU to that area. Far easier to install a HU with flip-up monitor...

4th gens are a little different, Matt..

You can place some 7" flat screen monitors in the place where the stock double din HU would normally be. Then you can mount a single din sized HU below that (I think it's an ashtray?). Lots of people on the org have done it, of course, no one can access that now.

I know my girlfriend has a 97 GXE and I beg her everytime I'm in her car to let me install a screen + aftermarket HU and DVD

I never paid that close attention since I could never do it myself. I know that "Redmax" on the org was the guy who supplied most folks who did that on their 4th gens, and I think it was about $200 for the screen he sold. Might just have to wait for the org to come back up if someone around here doesn't know.

I have the 7" Microvision TFT and I bought it from Redmax on a groupdeal on the .org. I also bought my DVD player from him.
