hi guys, ive just compleated an engine swap on my 91 240sx, after replacing fuses and all the usual stuff turned the key and car started with no problems (first trun, first strart) just a lil idle problem due to a broken sensor i the intake manifold, replaced the sensor and corrected the problem, when i got my new tieres and wanted to take it out for a spin, the car did not want to start anymore.

checked fuel delivery... perfectchecked cables....... ohmms read wth in specschecked coil........... ohmms read with in specsvoltage to coil....... 12.30 volts

the problem is that there is no spark reaving the coil, i put a scre driver at the end of the coil calbe and put it clse to the engine block to see if theres a spark but theres nothing, took out the coil and took it to autozone (maybe i tested it wrong) but the guy said it was ok and that i didnt need a new one.....

im stuck can u guys please help me????????

im very anctious to take my car out for a first spin and posibly a first drift..so u might undestand my rustration...

thx for ur atention

ps sorry i forgot to specify that its a ka24de

First check if the battery is good and then ckeck the fuses then if its all good then it might be the coil pack it can also be the starter

if your engine spins when your trying to start it that means that your timing belt or chain is broken or worn.
