I've read a lot about adding manual boost controllers and hks waste gate actuators, but I havent read much about fuel trim. I currently have a stock sr20det with just FMIC, BOV, 3.5" exhaust., and K&N filter. If I were to set boost at 12psi (with HKS actuator), what would I have to do to allow proper fuel adjustments. Reset the ecu? Let it just relearn fuel curves? SAFC? Fuel Pressure Regulator? Also, I just ran a 14.2 at the strip : (

In a perfect world, you'd need an ECU tune and bigger injectors... I'm assuming you have an S13 sr20, if so 12psi would be the highest I would turn it up too on the T25. If you have a higher flow fuel pump, which you should, you should be ok. There are alot of people, including myself, that have turned up the boost and been fine... But the best/correct way to go about it would to get bigger injectors and get it tuned...

Just as he said. I have a S13 blacktop with a 300zxTT fuel filter and a Walbro 255 pump and can reliably run 12 lbs.

I have the 300zx fuel filter and high flow fuel pump also. Did you guys run your stock ecu? Did you also use a boost gauge?

MBC and HKS actuators are redundant.

get a wide band a/f gauge it will be a great tool for turning up your boost ,the 255lpf fuel pump and z32 fuel filter .. At least then you can see if your running to lean or not . And maybe find the sweet spot .

id suggest looking into the apexi safc-II or safc-neo, along with an ELECTRONIC boost controller you wont neet to mess with the ecu
