Nevermind, I put the pillow collar in the wrong spot (under the spring hat).

Did you just put springs on it?

Yeah, I just figured out its actually my springs twisting. I have tein basics and before this I had the rear springs on the front and the front springs on the rear. This problem arose when I "fixed" them and put the springs in the right places. I hope my springs arent messed up. I havent drove the car since mid january and I put them on in like october or november.

I dont know what else to do...I tightened the top strut bolt (torqued it down to specs while holding the top of the spring hat). It still turns around on the strut and pops.

the plate on top of the spring has a notch on it. this notch gets pointed towards the body of the car. so if you are looking at the spring from the side put the notch on the direct opposite side of you. i hope i explained this well
