turning rotors: tech question

When resurfacing rotors, do u need to take off the same amount of material on each side? i mean, i wouldnt be taking off that much anyways, as long as the surface is smooth and the rotors are true, its all good right?ps- anything to watch out for turning slotted rotors? i will be using just a manual lathe for this...-Enzo

Typically yes... just run them in about the same amount.
