I have a 2009 G37X. Have it serviced at the dealer every 7,500 miles and in between have the oil & filter changed by local garage who I have used for years. After first oil change there, "engine oil" reminder light on the lcd panel comes on every time I start the car. Trip computer switch turns it off but it is back on next time I start engine. How do I turn this maintenance reminder off so that I do not see it each time engine starts? Thanks.

If you are talking about the maintenance reminders in the center screen, look at pages 4-9 to 4-11 in the owner's manual. If you mean the oil & filter change reminders that show up on the amber screen above the steering wheel (the one they call "dot matrix liquid crystal display"), look at pages 2-19 to 2-26. The instructions are poorly written, so I can understand your frustration. Once you get to the set/reset screen for oil change, pay careful attention to what it shows for the square button and the round button & make sure what you want is what is highlighted in the display. It will probably take several tries until it all starts to make sense You can change the distance between reminders and you can reset the counter for each reminder.

Good luck.
