If that doesn't work, leaving the car in neutral will keep make it stop at ACC, then you can put the car in park. Note that, as has been normal ever since the appropriate interlocks were made (and presumably mandated by the USDOT), it isn't possible to turn the ignition to the off position when the automatic vehicle isn't in park (vs a manual where you generally have to push/pull a release near the ignition when turning it to off. Not sure if there are any factory push button start manuals out there).
