OK so i have always loved drifting and racing sedans. their long sleek and just makes people go WTF!? when they see it..anyways ive thought of a recent project undertaking that is quite large i guess..i want to turn my maxima rwd and set it up for grip and drift..just bnot sure if a 300zx trans, rear end, and front clip steering controls control arms along with suspension mounts etc. will even hook up? i am new to maximas and want to do something i haven't seen done b4 to shut up a lot of people in my area =]...gracefully of course

please be belligerently honest so i can pick a good direction to go with my car =].

You'd end up basically rebuilding the entire car. Suspension, firewall, drivetrain, everything would have to be redesigned, much of it from scratch.

Unless you are going to do all the fabrication work yourself...not worth it.

You'd be better off finding a J30 and making it into a 5spd.

Or you could convert a Q45 to 5 speed.
