First let me say this is a great site and I have already answered many of my questions by looking at other posts. The question I have is when I turn either turn signal on the voltage gage and the rpm gage bottom out and the battery light comes on and begins to chirp for a few seconds and neither turn signal will work. After I move the turn signal switch back to nutural a few seconds pass and the chirping stops and everything returns to normal. The same thing happens when I put the truck in reverse and the back up lights don't work. I have already checked the emergency flasher switch by moving it around as suggested in other posts with no effect, the emergency flashers do work. My thinking is there is a short in the blinkers and the back up lights? That's where I was going to start looking for the problem but I wanted to run it by you'all first. It seems to do the same thing when I crank the truck, I have noticed that the truck will not start until the moment I release the key. Ohh it's an 84 king cab 4x4. Thanks ahead
