for some reason my turn signals dont work in my new 89 240sx, neither does the dash lights climate lights and hazards. I swapped the turn signal mech for a working one out of my other 240sx, i also swapped the hazard switch, still no help. Also i swapped the cluster that wouldn't light up into my 91 240, it lit up fine and all signal worked properly. The cluster thats in my 89 is from a 91 because of sr swap, could this be the problem? help

Good luck getting the answer to this question man.....while the above comment was chuckle worthy (not a full laugh sorry) it doesnt help....check ur fuses and look for loose wires...i had/have this same problem and they work when they feel like it (even though they actually came back when i started messing with the radio and cig lighter fuses also the interior lights fuse got a reaction).....now my lights kick on when i flip them on and turn the car on in one motion lol (its sad)....gl...and i would have said search but for this problem its reall a mute point as all the threads say the same and dont ever have a resolution if it doesnt turn out to be ur fuses

thanks. I checked every fuse, took the strering column apart looking for that blinker relay, swapped it for a working unit but still not a thing. The kind i bought it from swapped the dash and did a piss job on the electrical for the dash and sr20 swap, i asked him but he had no idea on how to fix it

i did the same took the entire dash and dropped the steering wheel thw whole nine....nothing seemed messed up and i left it that way for a few days.....put it back together it still didnt workthen one day began working again.....my alternatir wire popped off i undid the battery and up to its old tricks again....so now it comes on whenever it sees fit......my headlights work and so do my bliners and hazards so we might have different issues...gl either way

its a pain but trace the wiring from the fusebox through the cluster into the hazard.get a multimeter, put your blinkers on and trace from fusebox back.its gotta be a short somewhere, most likely a poorly spliced harness connection that worked its way loose.

^^That could be the issue...wiring specialties did my harness so that would suck if it were the case lol....imma take it apart and check it all
