i have a s13 hatch back 1990 the probluem is that my turn signals dont work they work when my lights are off but when i turn my lights on they dont work any one know y or can help thanks

Funny. I'm having a similar problem. My right turn signal works fine, but my left turn signal is crazy. When my exterior lights (headlights and just parking ambers) are on, the signal turns on and off rapidly, as iff one of the bulbs is out. However, when no other lights are on, it works normal. Recently, I replaced a fuse (not connected to turn signals- I don't know why it would make any difference) and installed the JWT ECU; now that signal occasionally speeds up (not to the same speed as when the lights are on, but just a bit). Its possessed ...I'll be checking more fuses later, but I just thought I'd add my strangeness to see if anyone has ideas.

there's the possibility of the flasher relay and also some buildup of carbon along the sockets. I'd start sniffing around with the easier stuff (although that relay isn't exactly the easiest thing to get to)...
