turn signal issues

ok this should be simple

when i click my right turn signal on, the lights dim, engine falters for a moment...what's wrong here?

just for the record, i have no front signals in, left bulb is broke, right is non-existant...terminals/housings are in tact and ok though

trace wiring back and see if it is cut or frayed anywhere. also make shure that you have new bulbs in there, the bulbs are really cheap. Does it hapen with only left or right or is it both? Try your hazard lights and see if it affects it either.
