So, i'm sitting in my Nissan Stealership after bringing my car in for what I was hoping as "warranty" service but turns out, again, its my fault. (Like my fuced up leather seats)

So my turn signals have condensation build up in them (the signals in the side mirrors, this is a 3.5) The service guy removes the turn signals and brings them to me and this is how our conversation goes..

Service: You have condensation buildup in your signals, thats not covered by warranty, its water damage.

Me: Well, why do I even have condensation within the compartment?

Service: The sealent is faulty, because of impact.

Me: I've never been in an accident, show me the impact.

Service: Its probably around here.... he points at the whole thing. (It's dirty, but I assure you, there is no damage) Me: There's no impact.

Service: Condensation is because of impact.

Me: If the sealent is faulty, then how is it my fault?

Service: Because of major impact.

So, after the conversation he goes to look up parts for me and im still sitting here waiting. I doubt warranty will cover this either. On top of all this, my reverse lights are blown, both of them, I'm assuming thats an electrical problem. But, I'm guessing they'll won't cover it, again.

I'm so fed up with bs dealership warranties, I'll probably never buy a new car again. When my AC was new, 2008, I had an issue where my windows came down by themselves during a blizzard. My whole interior was snowed in, frozen and everything, clutch was stuck cause of a block of ice. I brought it in, they refused to do anything cause they said i left my windows open.. So I left my car there for a week and the windows came down themselves. They repaired the issue, my driver seat was ffffffff'ed and they refused to replace it under "wear and tear". They said its probably me sitting on my wallet that has caused the leather to wear like it has. (suuchhh bsss). Anyways, enough of my rant- I'm outttieee!

He's a freaking liar. You should have taken it from his hands and threw it at his face and said..See..that's impact...Now replace it you moron!

I had the same issue and it was replaced under warranty! Ask to speak to the service manager!

Def lying I had the same thing.

Dealership said no problem, they ordered a whole new rear view mirror. Talk to the manager..... The electric problem I know is not covered but the turn signal is def covered!!

you can't compare one dealership to another really.

here in NY there are like 30000 nissan dealerships. some are extremely helpful, honest, and even mod friendly.

others, will not only refuse to fix your car but will steal all your quarters while your car is being serviced (true story)

there was something at the dealership that they didnt want to fix under warranty (I forgot what it was) but the guy at the dealership told me to call corporate Nissan from the phone number in our service manual or something and that they will make the dealership do it.... was something small and was actually my fault so I never went through with it. but that might help, or go to a different dealership
