Turn signal bulb holder won't fit aftermarket tails.

Bought my brother some aftermarket tail lights for his 99 Qx4. He says everything fits and lines up except the turn signal bulb holder. Just wondering if there is a differnence between the Pathfinder tail light wiring and the qx4. The auction actually stated these lights were for a Nissan Qx4. But i never heard of that vehicle. Maybe its JDM? Any information would be great. Thanks

I looked it up on sylvania's website... Apparently 99 and 99.5 use different tail light/stop light bulbs...

99.5 Nissan Pathfinder

Tail light- 7443

99 PathfinderTail Light- 1157

However a 99 QX4 only uses 1157 tail light bulbs... I wonder if somehow you got housings for a later Pathfinder instead of a QX4? Or of course you could have gotten ones from a 2000 QX4 which uses 7443 bulbs...

Hey thanks a lot for the info. I didn't get a chance to look at them today but hopefully i will be able to tomorrow. I need to run to the junkyard anyway, so i'll have to take a lens with me and see if i can find a nissan/infinit that will have the correct plug. Or i can hopefully go to the dealer and not get raped too bad for the correct plug.

Yeah i found out it needs a 7443 bulb. So i have to get a 7443 Socket first. Any idea on where i could get one for a fair price. I understand that i can go to the junkyard, but if i could order it online or at the dealer for a decent price that would help also.
