Greetings.
My '95 Hardbody has a strange habit. Whenever I turn on the right turn signal the horn blows in unison with the light, beep, beep, beep. It isn't constant, just when the light flashes. The left signal doesn't do it.
Where should I look first?
Oh yeah, the horn will not work when I press the switch, only when I use the signal.

I would look at the wiring in the steering colum. Sounds like the two have shorted out together.

Any friends that want to mess with you? We did that to a buddy of mines truck back in highschool.

I'm with ^ though, sounds like a short. Pull the middle cover off the steering wheel and check out the switch.

Thanks folks.
I spent a couple of hours on it yesterday. Took the steering wheel and column covers off, all looked good. I pulled the horn fuze and found it blown, yet the horn still blew along with the signal. I pulled the relay out, no change. So finally I just unplugged the horn and ran a new circuit to a switch on the dash.
I did find a big bundle of tape and wires running next to the fender by the air box on the right side, but I didn't have the time or patience to tear into it. God knows what else is going on in that mess.....

I would certainly continue looking... having the horn in the steering wheel is way better in an emergency situation. Mine and some ABS action saved me a new right front fender and door from an old lady in a mini van that tried to merge on top just a few days ago. I swear I'm invisible in my truck... maybe it's the silver paint blending in to the road?
