Not sure if this is new, but I believe it has just started. I can't find any reason for the ding other than the fact the driver door is open?

Any way to disable it? Thanks!

PS: Waiting for 'are you serious, read the freaking manual' from a certain know-it-all-member.......

Yo, I'm getting the same thing, sometimes.

The car beeps at me if I turn off the car AFTER I open the door. But not if I turn off the car and THEN open the door.

I know my phone beeps with the bluetooth disconnects when I turn off the car.

But now I think there are other beeps (when starting or shutting down), I just havent been able to reproduce them on command.

Check pages 2-17, 2-20, 3-12, 3-13.

I didn't find these by paging through the paper manual. That would take far too long. Instead, I downloaded the complete set of manuals from the Infiniti web site and searched for the word "chime".

If you leave the intelligent key in the car, or in the "port", it will sqawk at you like a stuck pig. It's a security feature so you don't walk off and leave the intelligent key in the car.

Just wait till you leave your car running, playing around with nav, phone, etc, and the hazard lights automatically kick in. I admit that I had to scramble a bit to remember where the button was to turn it off... even though it was right there on the center console.
