LOL what kinda BOV is it? My HKS SSQV sounded like that, and it wasnt compressor surge-- just how the BOV was. Dont tell anyone, but all my local friends called my KA-T car "The Gobbler."

maybe the tial. it's pretty quiet and when you use a stiff spring and high boost, it makes turkey noises, kind of.

I heard it on an MSP once he said all he had was a larger intake tube and filter . I couldnt imagine it would be a compressor surge

A lot of old rally cars had valves that sound like what you want... And no, it's not compressor surge.Rally car designers aren't stupid.

I don't know of any current market ones that sound like those though. Maybe try a Subaru 22B stock bypass valve vented? Donno.

im using i think its a 1g dsm bov with an adjustable cap and its vented and i get the worst gobbler sound. i always thought it might have been compressur surge cause it kinda sounds like it but its alot deeper sound, its not as chattery. i have the bov set so it opens right up just reving the motor a little so i guess i cant be having compressure surge and its just the way it sounds.

I same here have been looking for this one, now i know a guy over here in Cali that has this one, but i never have gotten to talk to him , but since i know poeple over here, a guy had the same bov, he was using the blitz , iam trying to confirm if its the ss or dd, he said that they are very hard find. I will be hopefully confirming this by today, also the one who told me that its a blitz knows the other guy thats running it in his car(one i lacked to to talk to). Trust me i know how it feels to search anc search, i have been trying to track down this one for about 4 months now . -Ricky
