What is up in the states? I have a ? about what turbos were used on what cars. I had one of mine go out very badly and thay will not let me drive it until it is fixed. i was wondering if i could use one from another car over here seeing how it is hard to find 300zx parts here. any answers would be helpful. thanx

I'm not sure of the specs on the stock turbo but it's a standard water cooled T25 and isn't hard to find new or rebuilt units, the new ones tend to cost little mroe than the rebuilts, the bad news is that the replacement is a huge pain and if one is dead the other will likely follow

You're in Fussa and can't find 300zx parts??? There are places all over. Have you tried Up Garage or Parts Off? I mean that would save you some money on decent used turbos. I've seen some go pretty cheap with minimal shaft play. Central20 isn't too far either...woudn't hurt to call them and ask. Up Garage might be your best bet though...just hit up a few and look around.

I agree with widebody, you can search around and find decent ones in those spots. If not there ebay it, online search and you can find tons of parts. Replace both or at least give the other turbo a good going over, A VERY good going over. I got stock turbos for about 200 bucks online from across the USA, from a wrecked TT. Really easy to find. If your turbos are crap and you have to spend the cash, might just upgrade then and use the cash you need to spend neway to add some more punch... good luck with that
