Today I was babysitting my little sister (5 years old). For some reason she decided to become a cranky little brat (maybe because she's a girl?). I am usually able to calm her down but today was an extra special piss-Chris-off day. So I was pissed, she was pissed and I wanted to go drive.

So I throw her carseat in the MR2 and we go for a drive, she's kicking my dash and I smack her leg to get her to stop, which only makes her more angry. Now if I was a good adult, I would've just smacked her across the face and said, "Listen here, you do nothing but leech off the family funds so quit your crying and play with your toys!" Luckily I am not... at least for now.

I live right by the highway so I figured a little highway driving was in order. I get on the on-ramp at a steady 20mph and punch it in 2nd gear. I watch the boost gauge read 12psi as my sister is being pushed back into her seat. Within a few seconds I'm already at 65mph.

She starts laughing and says, "Again! Again!" So I let the car slow down and downshift into second from 3rd. I get down to about 40mph and punch it again letting the boost kick her back into her seat.

The child was pacified. Ah, boost circumventing proper raising of a child since 1991. Thank you Toyota. I got her to shut up, I got my drive in and she'll grow up wanting a turbo car. All is well and I have brought peace and balance back to the world.

Such a heartwarming and touching story. Pehaps you should sell the rights to the movie.

Nicely done. Another REAL chick car enthusiast in the making. Keep it going and make sure she gets something good when she grows up.

When she's old enough (or at least big enough) I'm going to go ahead and start teaching her about driving lines and engines and all sorts of fun things. When she turns 16 I'm thinking I'll probably buy her an Elise.

Boost = fun for all ages.

If everyone had a big brother like you, Honda would be outta business!
