Okay I have been thinking about going fi for a very long time. I keep going back and forth and researching various kits. I have obsessed over it so much my wife has told me to just do it so I can stop torturing myself. I have kind of abandoned the idea of the stillen kit and sc in general, and the greddy twin turbo is just to much money. I have done allot of reading on the turbonetic kit and want to have some opinions on it. Is it reliable?Does the engine management kit that comes with it work well?Is there anything the kit does not come with I may need to buy?

Your advise and opinions will be greatly appreciated as always.

thanks,Matt

I have seen both kits in action and from what I understand from their owners they are plenty reliable. The guy I know with the turbonetics kit beats the hell out of his Z while drifting and hasnt had a problem yet and he has been doing that since he got the kit. As for the APS kit they guy I know who runs that set up says he hasnt had any problems but he only drag races so their isnt too much distruction to be done in my opinion in his 11s runs to say its as reliablel as the turbonetics kit. Either way you go in my opinion is a good choice.

Thanks, do you know if either of them are running the ecu programs that came with the kit's or did they upgrade to utec or something like that? If not do they have other exhaust and intake modifications?

thanks again,Matt

The drifter I am almost positive is runing a only a spacer but did a full 3" single dump exhaust as far as his ecu is conserned I would imageing he is running whatever system it came with. Kid spends more money on tires and body work then upgrading other engine components. The drag racer has alot more work in his car; intake system, and any other bolton that can net him more power before breaking into the motor and he is also running a single dump system too. He is using an AEM system now never asked him about the ecu system before so I really wouldnt beable to tell you much in that arena.
