Hey guys I was looking at the torbonetics stage 1 for the Z and was wondering if you guys heard any cons about it. I have an 03 autotrans with 30000 miles stock. I plan to get other bolt ons with it tho I was just wondering if you heard anything bad. Also would it be wise to upgrade my suspension and get larger wheels to compensate for the added horse power?

Both upgrades would be good with the upgraded power, but not really needed. With the autotrans it might be a good idea to get the stillen valve job so you don't blow up the transmission. Haven't heard anything bad about it. Iwas thinking about getting it for my 350, but not sure if I want to supercharge it though.

Thanks I was really dreading spending over 2,000 more than I wanted to. And saving some would help pay for the valve job too. I just don't wanna ruin anything packing and extra 125 to 150 hp or atleast thats what they claim.

If you don't get on your car a lot the stock tires will be fine, but if you plan on ueing all the power often you would probably want the bigger tires though becuase they will give you better grip.

Yes i agree with NSR when you put a turbo or supercharger in and add the hp your tires wear faster, your brakes become more abused, and your suspension takes a little toll. Suspension should be fine in the Z. I had a Acura TL with a supercharger, and wow my brakes had to be upgraded, my tires a little wider. But depends on how hard you will be running it. I run hard, you may or may not. Make sure it is worth putting in and blowing the money if you are just doing it for kicks.

Turbonetics is a good kit. The only reason i went w/ vortech is the fact i don't have to fear blowing my car up, don't have to wait for the spool up ( wich is whats the hardest on your car when all that power kicks in all at once) Unless you are tracking the car, the super charger is easier to tune and hold a tune, and easier on you car. With no lag, and power from the get go. It's a toss up. The turbo will out run the super charger once it spools, but the super charger will have it at the begining. And don't woory about rims and tires right away. Tear the old onse up the figure out if you need to dump the $ into rims and tires. Now for the brakes. I've got the track model w/ the brembos, wich do me fine. If your stock w/ those little ol factory stoppers, save and upgrade those first w/ some good pads. Good luck!
