turboing a ka?

well iam new to the site and first time 240 owner so dont rag on me to much! i was considering turboing my ka what are the pros and cons ? are the ebay kits worth it? what mods need to be done?please help!?

i guess the main question is is turboing a ka reliable? or should i save my money for sr20 swap?

SRs suck unless you do it right then its ok i just know that a turbo'd ka is way better than the aluminum blocked SR is you should rebuild your KA and turbo it'll cost about the same as an SR but be so much better

oh and you'll need to cut and weld the piping on the Ebay kit and get a better bov and intercooler sooner or later and definately a better turbo

ok your right about the newbies! sweet thats good news! i wanted to turbo the ka its just been my project car slowly but surely! ant tech tips you can give would be sweet?!!!!

you'll need new bigger injectors and an aftermarket fuel controller and a Walbro fuel pump colder plugs and possibly a new battery

do your research before diving into a project like this. if your wanting a "reliable" turbo'd 240, AND your thinking ebay, then youve already failed at your goal

well i did some reading all day on this i still havent found out what size of injectors to use? and what to set the fuel pressure at? i have a hook up on some 300z injectors out of a 95 will these work? im in the smack dab middle of kansas lets just say the part store clerks only no honda crap!!!
