hey guys im new to the forum as well as the 240sx world. i have recently purchased a 96 240sx Zenki with 85k original miles. the cars pretty well maintained and was bought from a dealership. has a Injen cold air intake system as of now. nothing else on it. but i want more power out of this tuck motor! i was thinking if i should go on ebay and get me a ka turbo kit for cheap and add it to the automatic. my friend will soon part out his 95 Zenki so i can get his 5 speed transmission off him and do a conversion. but until then i dont know if i should get a turbo kit for an automatic car. if you guys can help me out, thanks a lot.

my questions are: will it be hard to install myself? is it worth it for an automatic? how much u think it will cost? and what do i need to buy?

if you look at the high hp drag cars they are auto as well. my guess is the only thing that you could possibly hurt is the torque converter. i don't know much about autos but that is my 2 cents

the ka auto trans connot handle much boost , idid it and it doesnt want to shift , it will stay up in the rpm's and slip like hell , u will have to let off to shift gears and eventually burn the cluthes all out. save up and do a 5 speed , currently that is what im doin .
