Hello everybody from nicoclub i am new to this forum been having my z for a year already and i think it is time to turbocharge it.I'm going to run turbonetics single turbo i have one year of experience of being a mechanic but been doing it for quite a while and there is always something new to learn. This is going to be my first turbo install if anybody has a forum or can give me any advise that will help, i will thank you greatly. :)

helps a ton to know what your questions are lol
if you havnt bought the kit already i would recommend going with a boosted performance mid mount you can find him on facebook if you google boosted performance 350z his facebook is the first link and i know he is currently wanting to do a group buy. the turbonetics kit has a t3 turbine housing limiting power and has a notorious history of cracked pipes. plus turbonetics turbos honestly just arnt in the same league as the likes of the precision cea's. right now precision cea=borg warner efr>garrett gtx for the non modified turbos.

for a comparison this is a scan of the dyno for my BP 6765 kit(now sold as a 6766 which spools quicker and can make more power.) on waste gate, his base kit is a 6266 which will make power sooner and a 7675 for those looking for more then 1000 whp, i converted speed to rpm since the dyno couldnt pick up the signal and its on 20 psi wastegate pressure dropping to 17 psi up top due to the clutch slipping and unloading the engine as you can see it spools very very quickly and is nasty on clutchs because of that lol, this dyno would have been 700+ whp if the clutch held and i kept the pressure and was able to rev it out.

however be warned if you wanna make power like this you need at a minimum rods and e85 or rods/pistons and pump mayby meth depending what compression ratio you do i run 8:1 from wossner. stock block can handle about 450ish whp on the DE engine. mayby more but your tune needs to be perfect and its going to be a time bomb still.

At the very minimum you will need to install larger injectors,re flash the ECM and probably install a higher flowing fuel pump.
