even if you could make an SR and a KA that had the exact same power outputs, they would still feel different when driving. The torque curves are so different that I think you really need to ask yourself first what kind of driving experience you want to have (high rev or low torque?) before you decide which engine you want. Its not just pure economics here, the results are different as well.

You could probably pick up KAs in good condition for a couple hundred bucks from people who've done swaps. When it blows, just toss in a new block.

Flip a coin. That's what I did. It landed on SR20, so I got an SR20.

sorry to be the one to break it to you, but its been proven that car stickers/decals add nothing but weight and visual appearance. I know this may surprize you because of all the rumors you've heard of but trust me :)

*slaps his forehead against his hand*

Yes I meant to do that assbackwards...

I think when it comes down to it, the power of the inline 6 would beat both... ;)

RB20s suffer from a distinct lack of low-end torque. Keep that in mind.

I had a 498 WHP RB20DET in my Skyline, all stock internals to boot. I would take a RB25 though given the choice. Even over the RB26, since I've rebuilt both.

Given the choice of engines to have in my 240, I'd take the KA all day.

But, like has been said 100 times already. Its up to the individual. Although you won't find any SR's beating my car...ever.

don't get me wrong, I'm going to 99% sure do the KADET route.. My dream engine though is still the RB25. I don't know why but the sound is heaven to me. Now if only it was smog legal here...

I hate CA...The RB series sounds awsome, no doubt about that. I can't decide what I like better, a V12 or an RB(any RB).

The Supra was the first import I fell in love with. But those TT versions are too expensive for my taste

A couple years ago you could pick up a pristine TT for something like $25,000. Now ones wiht 100,000 miles go for that much.
