Just thought Id post this for you guys to see......

http://www.cadillacforums.com/...64379

If someone can do it on a STS and keep all the creature comforts, they can do it on a Q45.

Very nice.

I love what they did with the bumper supports...

Way too much power for FWD, but it must be a blast to drive. How much power does it have?

I think he's holding back on the launch since the engine can't take full boost.

Jeez, that thing sounds mean.

Its gotta be more difficult on the STS considering its FWD.

Yeah, that's untenable. You would give up any basis for a claim in a front end crash and immediately be liable for your passengers.

Other than that, nifty for a single turbo. Gotta love transverse engines and FWD.......NOT!

Yeah that was something that someome mentioned..... would HATE to just even BARELY tap something because then all that work got destroyed.....

Hes going to put slicks on it, i think to try and get the power to the ground... hes running about 7 or 8lbs of boost..

i applaud the guy for going out there and BUILDING the car....

At the world of wheels, the local speed shop in Pelham, AL had a CTS-V with a Paxton supercharger on it. Of course the car has and LS-6. The supercharger fit well in front of the driver's wheelwell. All the brackets looked good. The guys put on longtube headers, the supercharger, and re-programmed the computer along with a few other mods, for about $8,500.00

Wicked! That is intensely sick (in a good way though).

my fave replies on that thread were the people who said stuff like "I really hope you don't hit anything!"... that's sorta like a trite DUH statement. I would hope people never wish you to hit anything regardless of whether you had a turbo setup behind the bumper or not. it's safe to assume that if he were to hit anything, 96% of the time it would be at a speed over 10mph anyway, in which case, it wouldn't matter if there was that turbo setup there in lieu of the core support or not... so might as well have it there!

Wow, that thing's sick!

I wonder what Jesda would have to say about that?
