Hey I've got a 95 KA-T running 9psi that I've been daily driving for about a year and half now and I'm looking to upgrade the fuel system, I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with the Turbo240 fuel kit, and I was wondering which one of the z32, q45, or cobra MAF is better. Also, I'm thinking about going with the 50lb injectors since I'm not looking to make too much power but would there be any reason to go bigger. Thanks, Tarik

IMO the z32 MAF is the best, contact them and ask them questions, I don't think anyone here is running it. I was planning on buying it for my KA-T project but am still shopping around.

The Turbo240 fuel kit is nice, but kinda overpriced. You dont really need a top feed rail to use larger injectors. Deatschwerks sells side feeds at a great price. 555cc's are good for ~350whp. How much power are you aiming for? As for the MAF, I think the Q45 MAF is physically larger, but the Z32 can meter more air.

Just curious, what size are you running now?

Overpriced? I will give you that it is more expensive but for what you get with the kit I think the price is very reasonable.

Personally, from my experience, side feed injectors have been very finickey and do not produce consistant results. Also, the injectors are modified from oem cores most of time, meaning that they are drilled and fitted with a different style pintle making them very inconsistant.

Fuel is not one of the things that I try to save money on when building a car, its not the price of the fuel system or management system, its how well it works and how efficient it is...

Sorry, 'more expensive than most other fuel rail/injector/FPR combos' is a better term.

Ive never heard of someone losing a motor due to 'inconsistent' injectors. Turbo240's kit is a quality piece. But I believe you can get the same function at a lower price.

Tarik, for the record I have no personal experience with either Deatschwerks or Turbo240 products. I'm still wondering what kinda turbo and injectors youre running at 9psi...

You are bias.

I am not saying anything bad about your product, but, it really is overpriced.

i do not think it is over priced it is a quality piece with quality components. most ka-t builders do not need upgraded fuel lines and a new regulator. what would be great is if we could buy the rail, sanctions injectors and wires, with an adaptor to our stock FPR then knock some money off of it to get it in the low 400's i would buy it then. but since i can get side feed 650cc's for $250 with a core i can live with having a stock rail.

I'm running a t3/t4 with the stock injectors and a rising rate, but I've been looking to upgrade for awhile since I personally don't really trust rising rate but I just haven't had the money. The car's been tuned by Team Venture racing in Alabama and they've done a really good job so far as its been reliably driving every day.

I have the AMS 72lb fuel system and it is top notch. Very high quality and very nice. Worth the money and highly recommend it. You'll have more room to play with your fuel pressure and it's the last system you'll probably ever need.

Definitely get something! Ive heard too many horror stories about RRFPR's, especailly running that much boost.

I have been designing fuel rails for engines for over 15 years and have engineered only the best into the Turbo240 fuel system... The brackets that hold the rail to the manifold are designed to withstand the force of fuel pressure and boost pressure trying to push the rail off the manifold, grade 8 hardware is supplied with the kit, counterbores in the rail keep the injectors seated properly, fittings are o-ring style rather than NPT for a super clean install and a guaranteed leak free system... I designed the fuel system to be the last fuel system you will ever need for for fueling up to 500 whp (with the appropriate sized injectors)... With an injector upgrade and a second fuel pump our system is easily upgradable to well over 700 whp....

Its not the least expensive route to go but I feel its the best KA system on the market... I would not compromise on a fuel system for my car and offer a no compromise fuel system to our customers... We promise no dissappointments..

that i definitely agree with...................."its not the least expensive route to go, but it is the best KA fuel system on the market."

it just really depends on ur power goals for the car. i would go with their system if u have some 11 second goals and what not for ur car. but if ur just trying to run stock boost levels (7 psi) or what not, their system might be overkill.............
