i heard that a turbo z diff will really slow down acceleration. it seems like acceleration would be about the same though because you can stay in gear longer.I want to get this diff so i can go 150 if i want to, and get better mileage on the highway. does anyone know how much this would slow down my car in acceleration. im planning on going turbo next year also. thanks

It will not affect it since it has the same gear ratio. This is only the na 300zx however. There are plenty of ppl in this forum who have swapped diff. as well as posts on this topic so search around a little. Here, I'll help you out a bit lsd swaps

and

j30 and 300zx

he's talking about the turbo z differential, which ratio's are different, and yes will affect your performance in a 240.

iirc the turbo z unit is also bigger and will not bolt right up.
