get a weld on flange, weld it on the pipe, hook up the vac line, and adjust.

It's no different than any other BOV.

I have the adapter kit for the wrx...that 2 bolt oval shape. What kind of flange would I need to weld on there? I already have a hot pipe, but with no flange. Also I have searched and the dispute over where to mount the BOV still troubles me.

As close to the throttle body as possible. You should be able to buy a weld on adapter for that BOV.

So looking at the motor....it should be placed on the left side of the motor...the TB side correct. Thanks for your help, Im looking for a flange right now. You think a muffler shop can just weld one on? Then they would have to cut the hot pipe. Sorry, NOOB in the house.

Ebay has this polished hot pipe I guess that says "Adapter pipe XS" Im guessing the Turbo XS replica bov they have. Think I am better off going with that. They have a 2.5 in. and a 3 in. pipe. I hope it will work with the bov that I have.

I know there is a dispute with running an open bov or a recir. bov. but for my application do you guys think its a good idea (turbo xs) to be mounted?Im concerned about the motor and the turbo especially. Some say they run open with out standalone and it runs fine besides alittle rich, other say its the worse thing you can do. Help please! If its absolutely bad then ill sell it. If its good enough I'll mount it since its one that I already own. Thanks.
