Sorry for the noob question, but how does the coolant lines from the turbo hook-up to the engine? From memory it seems like on the exhaust side of the engine the coolant line attaches to the engine by a banjo fitting, just like it does to the turbo...is this right? How about the other coolant line.....how and where does it attach to the engine?

I was just messing with them and i think you are right about the banjo on both sides, I was tracing the one coolant line when i was swapping my turbo and i think it wraps to either the backside of the motor or the intake side below the intake, somwhere over that way, its not on the exhause side like the one fitting

That is just general coolant line routing.

For the feed, it is a line that goes from under the intake mani to the back of the intake manifold to the turbo. There are several hard lines with hard vac lines in an assembly that bolts to the back of the head. Since I am not in a cold climate and I do not run the butterfly system (what the vac line is for), I removed the assembly, cut the line on the turbo side, and run a steel braided line in place. Much cleaner.
