Turbo VS Supercharger?

i have a turbo in my 240 right now but i was just wondering why no one supercharges 240's? i know its a stupid Q but ive seen other cars i.e. the mazda speed miata whats the big difference because there is an big one for no one to use one and its just waiting to hit me in the face

The simple answer is no one makes a kit for the 240sx.

The purest answer is that the turbo is capable of producing more power per capita then a supercharger. The details are long and many. If you'd like me to go into further detail just ask.

Supercharger vs. Turbo really depends on what you are looking for out of the car.

A turbo system is more efficient, but has lag. The supercharger offers on demand power but takes up a large amount of space and in this case, would more than likely be more expensive in terms of time and cost.

A supercharged engine is also easier to work around for tuning because you have a simplified pressure system (little exhaust backpressure).

no one that i know of makes a kit for the 240.. a few people have done it and are tryign to get kits out there...
