Ive had some help with this in my de-rice thread but nothing seems to be working right for me. Ive read the write up at heavythrottle.com but it doesnt work for me since its not a stock motor. So i have some pictures of what i need connected and im trying to figure out what goes where.

this is the info from heavy throttle:3 lines start at the throttle body. The bottom one goes to the canister, block it off unless you are using the canister. The larger one on top runs to the bypass valve (BOV), there should be no tee's or branches - go directly to the BOV. The smaller top line splits to the fuel pressure regulator, and runs across the front of the engine to your boost gauge and/or the boost pressure port on your boost controller.

the problem i have is this, coming off of my throttle body are three outlets. one is smaller its in the middle. there are two big ones on each side, one is facing forward, the other to the firewall. my mechanic said he thinks those are for optional coolant to flow through? Not sure on that. The only other port is smaller and its coming off the bottom of the intake mani. the pic of the throttle body is bad i apologize. Also where would the line for the boost gauge go?

any help is appreciated alot alot thank you

this may help. this is exactly what mine looks like. in the pic there is still some hose on the two outlets my mechanic thought were for coolant. are those actually for vacuum lines?

those 2 bigger ones on the side did have coolant through them. some people re-reoute it since it make you're throttle body look cluttered. the middle one is a vaccum line originally meant for your carbon canister. what ever line you have going to your fpr, just T it off and run it to your boost gauge. if you're not using a fpr, just go straight from any vaccum line on our manifold. i think thats what you were asking.

ok. that helps a little. im just confused because the write up at heavythrottle says there are supposed to be 3 lines coming off the tb. i only see one vacuum port on mine( shown as #7 in the crappy cell pic) which they say to block off. the only other port i see down there is on my intake mani. (cant see it but #8) im just confused hah. cant figure out where everything is supposed to connect

looks to me like he won't have any of the excessive vaccum lines, looks like a gredy intake mani to me and i'm not sure but i'm pretty sure the vac lines are not going to be there like on a stock mani. don't quote me on this, this is just my best guess. on a further note all mine were blocked off and taken car of by a friend who knew what he was doing, and i'm na

this is where i got the pics from:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWD1V

and yea i think it is a greddy mani. it looks exactly like one, just no badge on it. Someone tried to "polish" it with an angle grinder it looks like. so far ive just found the one vacuum port on it. its like 2 inches back from the one i can find on my tb.

there are 3 total lines on the tb. for Vaccum in the pic the 2 lines bigger line are for coolant,

the vac line are as followes, smaller one on top fpr...the one next to is bov...and the one at the bottom is for the carbon canister...but u can also use this line for waste gate...b/c it is before the tb butterfly...ie it reads boost in the system where as teh top 2 read both vac and boost b/c they are after the tb...there is also a vac line ate the back of the IM for the brake booster...

This image should help when hooking up the waste-gate. Don't make the mistake like alot of people do and hook it to vacuum.

That is how you hook these two items up...

It is also a very good idea to put a zip-tie on the end of each and every one of your vacuum lines. This will help them to NOT pop off. As far as those other vacuum ports above the throttle body, I believe those are actually part of the factory manifold not the throttle body it's self.

Np. I see no reason why you could not tee the BOV into the vacuum line running to the FPR. If it is only those two items sharing the source, you should be fine.

On the other hand, you could always get one of these...

This tees into the larger hose running from your BMC to the manifold. This would allow you multiple vacuum ports for BOV, Boost gauge, Ele Boost controller etc.

If i dont have a pressure fitting on my turbo how do i hook up my wg? I was told that the two lines from my manual boost controller go to my wg but from what ive been reading thats incorrect.
