So Im searching around trying to figure out why I cant get my damn car to run right and came across a bunch of different ways to hook up the vacuum lines. Right now I have my bov line going straight to the throttle body, The waste gate line is teed to the boost gauge, then to the fpr, and to the intake manifold. Now I read the the waste gate is suppose to go to the hot pipe and teed to the bov. then run everything else off the intake manifold. Is this correct?

Also reason Im trying to figure this out is because my car is having a weird vacuum problem. Cruising itll be at like 15 vac then randomly drop down to 10 or lower vac. And causes the car to buck really bad. But then other times the vacuum is ok. Think the way I have my vacuum lines would cause this??

I posted this in the sr20 forum but I figured I would get more looks here.

I doubt that vacuum will cause the car to buck. I think it may be the bucking that is causing the vacuum to fluctuate. A coupler that's loose or cracked however would cause lots of bucking...been there before.

I've always had my BOV, wastegate and boost gauge sourced from the manifold. Have you thought of using a vacuum block?

Well I took it to a shop and I was told that it doesnt have a vacuum leak. and the bucking is random. Not all the time.

When does it buck? I had an issue when the ECU would go from closed to open loop because my O2 sensor was F'd.

Well see I actually just got it back from the shop. They had to wire in a consult port. They then ran a test and my 02 wiring had no signal. So they rewired that I drove it home and it ran pretty good. Then now its crappy again. I dont get it. And I have a brand new o2 sensor.

This is the turbo I have. Pretty sure I dont have a nipple for the wastegate. Guess I gotta order that part.
